Meet the people behind your care
Virtue Medical began with a simple belief: care starts with kindness, knowledge, and a doctor who genuinely listens and respects you.

Dr Edith Loo
MBBS (Singapore)
GDFM (Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine)
Dr Edith Loo believes the best family medicine happens when your doctor knows you as a person, not just symptoms. She practises with patience and focuses on prevention, whether you're managing chronic conditions or coming in for health screening. Off duty, she's usually hunting for Singapore's best pasta, working out, or reading at a coffeehouse—understanding firsthand that health is about living well, not just avoiding illness.

Dr Reuven Cheng
MBBS (Singapore)
MScPHM (Singapore)
Dr Reuven Cheng brings a calm, attentive approach to every consultation. He takes the time to truly understand what you're experiencing and explain options in ways that make sense, so you can move forward with confidence. He provides comprehensive primary care that supports your overall wellbeing. He believes in staying connected throughout your health journey and creating practical, sustainable plans that work for your life.

Frequently asked questions
Safety & Suitability
Yes, absolutely. All teleconsults are handled by our own fully licensed Singapore GPs who are registered with MOH. Your session uses secure, encrypted platforms that protect your personal and medical information, just as we do in our clinics. You’re speaking to a real doctor from Virtue Medical, not a third-party service.
For most common conditions (such as coughs, colds, mild fever, sore throat, skin rashes, allergies, or medication refills), an online consultation is perfectly sufficient. If the doctor feels a physical check is needed, he/she will advise you to come down to the clinic for an in-person review. The key is ensuring your issue is managed safely and correctly.
If our doctor suspects that your issue needs a physical assessment or a referral, he/she will guide you clearly on the next steps. We can help arrange for you to come down to one of our clinics or refer you to the appropriate facility promptly. In general, if you experience symptoms (including but not limited to the following): chest pain, breathing difficulties, convulsions or seizures, severe abdominal pain, sudden numbness, weakness, slurred speech, loss of vision, loss of consciousness, injuries such as suspected fractures or dislocations or persistent bleeding, please proceed to the nearest Emergency Department immediately.
You can WhatsApp or call our clinic team to check first. We’ll advise you honestly whether teleconsultation is suitable or if you should come in instead. Our priority is to give you the right kind of care, not just the most convenient option.
e-MC & Prescription
Yes. Once the doctor determines it’s needed, a digital medical certificate (e-MC) will be emailed to you. Prescriptions can be collected at our clinic or delivered directly to your home through a logistics partner. Everything is handled the same way as in a physical visit.
Appointments & Scheduling
We completely understand that plans can change. You can easily cancel or reschedule your appointment using the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting our clinic through a phone call or WhatsApp message. Our team will help you find a new time that fits your schedule easily.
Cost & Payment
Consultations are $22 on weekdays, and $32 after 5.30pm on weekdays and on weekends. There is a flat medication delivery fee of $8 to most locations in Singapore. Please note that delivery to Sentosa incurs an additional fee, and we do not deliver to Tuas or Jurong Island.
No, in general, CHAS is not available for teleconsultations, unless it's for follow-up of selected chronic conditions. Subsidies for acute (common) illnesses are typically not covered for teleconsults.
Most major insurance plans and corporate panels do not cover teleconsultation. If you’re not sure, just ask us before your visit, and we'll check for you.
In most cases, MediSave cannot be used for teleconsultations. However, if your session is a follow-up for a chronic condition covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), you may be able to claim MediSave for it.
